Learning To Drift Properly In Neon Drift Circuit
Most people bounce off Neon Drift Circuit because they treat it like a normal racer. It isn't. Nearly every corner is designed to be drifted, and once that clicks the whole game opens up.
The trick is releasing the accelerator a beat before the corner, then tapping brake to break traction, then getting back on the gas mid-slide. Do it right and you keep your speed instead of scrubbing it off. It felt awkward for about three races and then became second nature.
Switch to touch buttons if you're on tilt controls. Tilt looks cool but you lose the fine braking control that drifting needs. This one setting change fixed most of my early frustration.
Learn the shortcuts. Several tracks hide jumps and side routes that shave whole seconds, and the AI takes them too. Once you know where they are, races stop feeling unfair and start feeling like a memory game.
